🌟 Digital Drop-In Success! 🌟

Lisa & Marc from our Home Instead South Devon team had a wonderful morning at the Digital Drop-In Café at Pavilion in the Park, Kingskerswell — beautifully run by Kerswella Care and their fantastic volunteers.

Marc was busy helping Shirley clear out her overflowing inbox and sort out her phone storage — and as you can see, she left with a big smile! 💌📱

We always receive such a warm welcome here. If you or someone you know needs a bit of tech help come along!

What a lovely morning at the Park Café, Pavilion on the playing field in Kingskerswell!

Lisa, our Community Engagement Officer, was on hand at our Digital Drop-In—a warm and welcoming collaboration with Kerswella Care. 💜

From setting up emails to feeling more confident with phones and tablets, we’re here to help make tech less tricky and a lot more fun!

👵💻 Whether you're just getting started or need a little support, come along for a cuppa, a chat, and some one-to-one help.

We’re Home Instead South Devon — a local team providing care and companionship to older people, helping them stay safe, happy, and independent in their own homes.

But right now, care providers like us across the country are struggling.

There aren’t enough carers. Many don’t get fair pay. And the funding for social care is stretched thin — making it harder to give people the time and support they truly deserve.

So today, at 2pm, we’re joining care providers nationwide for a social media Day of Action called . It’s a way to speak up together and ask an important question:

“When we can’t care – who will?”

We’re calling for:
✅ Fair pay for care workers
✅ Recognition for the essential work they do
✅ Funding that protects the future of care for our ageing population

Hi everyone, Lisa & Liberty here!

We had a lovely morning at the Kerswella Care Café for our monthly Digital Drop-In. It’s always great to help people build confidence with their tech—whether it’s emails, apps, or staying safe online.

We were joined by the lovely Mia, who’s doing her work experience with us at Home Instead—she did a fantastic job!

These sessions run from 10:30 - 12:30 every first Tuesday of the month, so come along with your questions, have a chat, and treat yourself to something tasty to eat and drink from the café while you’re here—we’d love to see you!
