This week has been a heck of a Sciatica week! Lots of cases. Sciatica can range from mild inconvenience, to extreme pain. It has been a busy week again in clinic, seen a lot of low back and sciatica issues in particular.

In other news, as part of my registration with the General Chiropractic Council (set up via the chiropractors act 1994), I have completed my Continual Professional Development (CPD) submission to retain my official registration to practice for another year. I'm proud to say i have now been in practice as a Chiropractor for 9 and a half years!

This week in clinic we've seen a lot of good old fashioned stiffness and lower back pain with a side order of sciatica! We've had some pretty loud clunks too. Hello there! Just got back from the stunning Health Sciences University in Bournemouth (AGAIN!) having completed a shoulder masterclass. Shoulders are such a common injury and a complicated structure on the human body, and a big reason people seek out Chiropractic care, I certainly see a lot of them and it never hurts to keep your skills up!

As an added bonus, my legal requirements to perform a minimum of 30 hours of learning per year to retain my spot on the register of Chiropractors, is now complete! (For year 2024-25 at least)

I am still seeing a LOT of headaches in clinic this week with a side order of shoulder problems as well, thankfully, both with good results to treatment too! Full blown migraines, to dull throbby headaches. Chiropractic is shown to help sufferers manage their headaches and reduce symptoms, especially if there is tension through the neck and the shoulders. With summer coming, the last thing we want ruining our fun is a headache!

I have been seeing a lot of people with headaches in the practice recently and with some pretty good results being reported as well. Headaches related to neck issues and tension as well as aiding with migraine prevention are all fair game for a chiropractor to help you with.
