Isle of Wight Council have not requested a further delay to the May2026 local elections that had already delayed since 2025.

From Sky News today:
Sixty-three councils were offered a delay to their May elections by the government due to the obstacles surrounding LGR plans.

Out of the 63 councils Sky News approached, 29 said they will be requesting a delay, 33 said they will not, and one could not agree internally, analysis by Sky News found.

The pothole has emerged in the centre of the path just after the bench shortly by the causeway.
It has been marked and I reported it yesterday. I am advised “ the District Steward has attended site and raised a high priority job that should see the matter resolved in the very near future.”
