We all know that a fresh haircut or a perfect set of curls does more than just change your look—it boosts your spirits and brightens your entire day. Megan doesn't just bring her scissors and rollers; she brings her warmth, her stories, and that magic touch that leaves our residents glowing.

From dapper trims for the gentlemen to elegant sets for the ladies, the salon is buzzing with laughter and pampering.

A Day of Flavors & Fine Art! 🍲🎨

We had such a special day here at Inglefield!

We kicked things off this morning with a savory Soup Making Demonstration led by our very own Head Chef, Becky. The dining room smelled incredible as we learned the secrets to the perfect winter broth (and did plenty of taste-testing, of course!).

The creativity continued into the afternoon with Bread Painting! Using colorful, food-safe "paints," our residents turned plain loaves into beautiful, edible masterpieces.

It’s days like these—filled with good food and great company—that make our community feel like home.

From a simple snack to a gourmet spread!

What started as a quiet afternoon "cheese tasting" quickly turned into a full-blown charcuterie party here at Inglefield!

Our residents had a blast sampling everything from sharp cheddars to creamy bries, paired with salty olives, buttery crackers, and our chef’s special roasted tomatoes.

It’s amazing how food brings everyone together for stories and laughs.

🐟 Lunch Outing at The Horse & Groom! 🐎

We had such a lovely day out with our residents today! We took a trip down to The Horse & Groom for a change of scenery and some fantastic food.

There’s nothing quite like a classic fish and chip dinner, and it certainly didn't disappoint! Everyone enjoyed their meal, washed down with a refreshing glass of bubbly Coke and plenty of great conversation.

It was wonderful to see so many smiles and enjoy the cozy atmosphere of the pub. A huge thank you to the staff at The Horse & Groom for looking after us so well!

Who doesn’t love a classic fairground game? Today, we brought the carnival to our residents with a festive game of Hook-a-Duck! 💛

Activities like these are fantastic for hand-eye coordination and always spark wonderful memories of trips to the seaside and local fairs. As you can see from the photos, the competitive spirit is alive and well here at Inglefield.

Today is a very special day at Inglefield as we celebrate a huge milestone—Mick is turning 70! 🎈✨

A Taste of China in Totland! 🥢✨

There’s nothing quite like a local takeaway to brighten up the day. Our lovely Barbara had a special wish this week—she was craving a delicious Chinese feast!

We were more than happy to make it happen with a delivery from our local favorite here in Totland. The best part? Barbara didn't just enjoy it herself; she invited a fellow resident to pull up a chair and share the meal with her.

From the spring rolls to the smiles, it was a wonderful evening of good food and even better company. It’s the little things that make our community feel like home. ❤️

We had an absolute blast today as the team from RISE joined us for a morning of movement, laughter, and a little friendly competition!

A huge thank you to our fantastic team captains, Carol and Mick, for leading their squads with so much energy and encouragement. You both kept the spirits high! 📣

The competition was tough, but a massive congratulations goes to Betty, who was officially named Player of the Day! 🏆 Betty, your skills (and that winning smile) were unbeatable.

It was all systems go in our baking session today as our residents teamed up to whip up a batch of homemade shortbread. Whether they were mixing, rolling, or pricking the dough with forks, everyone played their part.

The best reward? A well-deserved cuppa and a warm shortbread finger to start the afternoon! ☕😊"
