What if I told you that discomfort is the doorway to success.
The problem is, we have been taught to treat discomfort as a warning sign. As evidence that we are doing something wrong. As a reason to stop.
But so much of the discomfort we feel in business is fear. Fear of being seen. Fear of getting it wrong. Fear of being judged. Fear of losing money. Fear of making the move before we have enough proof.
And the funny thing is, fear and excitement can feel very similar in the body. The difference is often just the story we attach to the sensation.
We often feel the need to have the data before we act. Data gives us something tangible to hold onto. It offers proof, patterns and reassurance.
Sometines though, there is no data. All we have is intuition. And intuition asks something much braver of us. It asks us to trust what we know before we can prove it.
And that feels so uncomfortable.
But if we are not in actual danger, maybe the feeling is not always a sign to stop. Maybe sometimes it is the sign that we are right on the edge of the thing we are here to do.
The people who move forward are not the ones who never feel fear. They are the ones who learn how to stay with the discomfort long enough to hear what it is really saying.
