✨ Hi, I’m Lara! ✨

I thought it was time to properly introduce myself, especially if you’re new here or thinking of joining one of my classes 🩷

I’m a 500hr qualified yoga teacher, currently teaching Vinyasa, Yin, and hot yoga. I’ve also recently added Reformer Pilates to my teaching journey, and I’m loving every moment of it.

I’m a big believer in creating space – for movement, stillness, and everything in between. My classes are all about tuning in, building strength, finding softness, and honoring where you’re at.

Outside of the studio, I’m a nature-loving, prosecco cheering, animal-adoring vegan who’s always dreaming up my next adventure 🌿🐾✈️

Classes have moved to a beautiful new location in Totnes! ✨ We’ll now be practicing together at Birdwood House, right next to the market square.

After some much needed time away to rest, recharge, and explore, I'm thrilled to be coming back home and stepping back on to the mat with you. Join me for my first classes back in Totnes at Moveforward Wellness Studio.

Looking to move, breathe, and find balance in your week? Whether you’re a regular to my classes or brand new, I’ve got two amazing classes for you:

🧘‍♀️ All Levels Vinyasa Yoga
Feel energized and empowered in this dynamic, flow-based class. We’ll link breath to movement, building strength, flexibility, and mindfulness. A great way to boost your energy and reconnect with yourself!
📅 Day: Tuesday, February 4th
🕒 Time: 6.15-7.15pm
📍 Location: MoveForward Wellness Studio

🧘‍♂️ All Levels Yin Yoga
Unwind and release in this gentle, meditative practice. Through longer holds and deep stretches, we’ll target the connective tissues and create space for stillness. A perfect complement to your active lifestyle or just a chance to relax deeply.
📅 Day: Tuesday, February 4th
🕒 Time: 7.30-8.30pm
📍 Location: MoveForward Wellness Studio

✨ Both classes are beginner-friendly, with modifications to suit everybody. If you prefer to bring your own mat, you're welcome to. Otherwise, we have everything you'll need 💗

Hi friends

Embrace your Monday morning with mindful movement and positive energy in my energising Yoga Flow Espresso Class.

Just like a morning coffee, this 45-minute class will help boost your energy, focus, and productivity, setting you up for your week ahead. Expect dynamic strength building poses, stretches, to enhance flexibility, followed by a short relaxtion at the end. Accompanied by an awesome playlist 🎶

🪷 All levels welcome

🌻 Bring a mat & water bottle

YIN YOGA back Moveforward

As we know Lara is one of the best Yoga teachers in town and we are now lucky to have her teaching Yin Yoga after her Vinyasa Class!

Vinyasa Yoga With Lara

Tuesdays - 6:30-7:30 pm (Starting new time 6:15-7:15pm on 12th March)

Lara’s Vinyasa classes are beautifully balanced between powerful, playful, soft and nourishing.

Each session we flow through a series of poses connected together with the breath. Designed to build strength, balance in the body as well as increasing flexibility and range of motion.

Expect an uplifting playlist and to step off your mat feeling refreshed and rebalanced, perhaps a little sweaty too.

Everyone is welcome and classes are adaptable for all levels.

Yin Yoga With Lara

7:30-8:30pm (Starting 12th March)

Yin and Yang are Taoist concepts that describe the two relative qualities present in everything. Yin is slow, night, cool, and passive. Yang is fast, day, active, and hot.

Unlike dynamic Vinyasa (Yang), Yin Yoga is a slower practice where poses are passively held for longer, typically ranging from 3-10 minutes.

This helps target the deeper tissues such as tendons, ligaments, fascia, and other connective body tissues. It is soothing and nurturing and allows us to move away from the “doing” and “achieving” of the yang energy and drop into a more receptive, calm, and meditative state.

Yin challenges us to look inwards and sit with any emotions, frustrations, and feelings that may arise. There are profound benefits to the practice that include increasing flexibility and range of motion in the joints and ligaments. It can improve emotional balance and help to reduce stress and anxiety and improve sleep. Suitable for everyone.

This week, you can find me teaching Vinyasa Flow classes at:

🪷 Moveforward Wellness studio in Totnes every Tuesday 6.30-7.30pm


🌼Luna and Wolf in Exeter 12-12.45pm every Wednesday (throughout January)

🌺Premier Gym in Newton Abbot 12-12.45pm Thursday ( every other Thursday after)
