Regeneration isn’t about going back to how things were.

It’s about reconnecting with the life force within us—and around us—that knows how to adapt, renew, and create forward momentum.

This understanding of regeneration sits at the heart of our psychological and humanitarian work.

🌱 Read the latest blog, Regeneration Beyond Recovery, to explore how people, communities, and ecosystems can thrive through inside-out regeneration.

✨ Join us to explore this field of recovery at our next gathering on Saturday 31st January.

There will be space to slow down, listen, and discover what becomes possible when we align with the regenerative intelligence already at work within us and around us.

Hope is not only normal. It is essential.

So grateful to and his colleagues as it's been a long time since we felt so hopeful about politics in this country.

And we're reminded of the poignant words of Dr Abdelfattah Abusrour during a recent performance of Beyond the Rubble: Steps of Hope, a celebration of Palestian culture and resilience put on by Alrowwad cultural and arts society in Ashburton arts centre.

'Despair is not a luxury we can afford'

Let 2026 be the year hope feels normal again!

And if you passing through Totnes on the way to Exeter look out for the sign in the Field.

Really looking forward to delivering training with later this week, and spending a couple of days with labour ward coordinators in London exploring how we can maintain wellbeing and access our natural resilience while delivering compassionate care.

I just realised this year marks ten years of delivering training for in a wide range of venues across the UK. These two photos — one from a hotel conference room in Guernsey, the other from a labour ward in Norwich — stand out as particularly memorable moments.

It continues to be a privilege to learn from the remarkable midwives and doctors who attend these courses. Their insight into what it takes to work in the NHS, and their capacity to offer compassionate care that gives babies and families the best start in life, never fails to inspire me.

Very grateful to for first reaching out to me and being ongoingly inspirational in her commitment to creating quality training. Hope maternity leave continues to treat you well 😘

Turning Destruction into Hope

A highlight of Mox’s work trip to Gaza last week was meeting the talented artist Nada Rajab, who is also the coordinator of the Art in the Rubble project run by The Hands Up Project which we’ve been raising money for at the gatherings in The Field of Possibility.

The pictures speak louder than words.

You can see more of what the students are creating through the Art in the Rubble: Turning Destruction into Hope project by following The Hands Up Project and you can support their work by donating through the fundraising page:
https://www.handsupproject.org/

You can also see more of Nada’s work at her insta pages

For reflections on how people survive, adapt and regenerate their lives in devastating circumstances, you can read the second part of our blog series, combining Mox’s work with the physical realities of recovery and Kirstien Bjerregaard work on psychological experience:

It’s not the reasons that create your mood.
It’s your mood that creates the reasons.

Yet most of us spend so much time analysing why we feel low, upset, or even happy — as though the answer lives in the past or in our circumstances.

Traditional therapy often leans into this misunderstanding, and we can see the impact in the growing numbers of people still struggling despite years of processing and unpacking.

But there is another way.
A way that aligns with what neuroscience shows us: our experience is created from the inside-out.

We are projectors, not cameras.
Yet much of psychotherapy keeps looking for reasons “out there,” rather than seeing that our state of mind is what generates the meaning.

In all our work, we explore how the human operating system actually works — the source of our resilience, clarity, adaptability, and capacity to thrive.
There’s laughter, warmth, insight, and real depth.

If this resonates, you can find more via the link in my bio.

And if you want to dive deeper, the podcast Psychology Has It Backwards with .hcec and Judith Sedgeman is a brilliant place to start.

Earlier this week Mox left to go to Gaza

Before he went, we sat together and talked — about how this humanitarian catastrophe feels heavier, harder to be with.

His work is about rebuilding from what’s physically left behind. Mine is about helping people recover their inner bearings after loss and change.

Different sectors, same truth: life has an extraordinary capacity to renew itself.

whether in cities or souls, the field of possibility is always there — waiting to be rediscovered. 🌿

Over the coming weeks we'll be sharing reflections from the rubble.
