At Home Dental’s supervised toothbrushing initiative The Big Brush Club is making a major impact across the Southwest. Here are a few photos from a recent visit to Bream C of E, one of 121 supervised toothbrushing settings in Gloucestershire. Team members Jermaine and Chantelle were joined by Bob the Badger to encourage healthy brushing habits through song!

Big Brush Club are hosting a FREE online webinar for parents and guardians which will cover the main causes of tooth decay and other common oral problems that occur in infancy, plus preventive advice including healthy food and drink choices, effective toothbrushing techniques, and strategies for supporting toothbrushing for SEN children.

More than 100 schools across Gloucestershire participate in a toothbrushing club.

From health checks to happy smiles 🦷💙 The Big Brush Club joined forces with North Bristol Trust at The Bristol Balloon Fiesta to share oral health tips, meet schools already brushing with us, and welcome new ones to the programme. With fun activities, prizes, and raising funds for Mind, it was a day full of connection, learning, and community spirit!

The process itself is not time-consuming - around 8 minutes from start to finish - and is something that the children love doing. It has really raised the profile of oral hygiene for both our pupils and their parents.
