⚽✨ A Very Special Surprise for Stuart! ✨⚽

Happy Wednesday everyone 👋!

Today, we share a very special story from our amazing team at Care Your Way North Manchester & Salford 🌸, who recently had the pleasure of organising a truly incredible surprise for their client, Stuart — a lifelong Oldham Athletic fan ⚽🏟️!

Stuart often chats with his carers about the team 💬, sharing fond memories from matches he attended when he was younger 🫶 and keeping up with how they’re doing today 🥅. So, when the team discovered that Oldham Athletic were holding a signing event ✍️, they knew it was the perfect opportunity to do something meaningful for him 🙌 ...

Registered Manager Beth and her daughter Ella 🌸 kindly bought a football and queued to have it signed by the players — and the look on Stuart’s face when it was presented to him said it all 🥰💜!

This thoughtful gesture is a perfect example of how our teams go above and beyond 🌠, truly listening to and acting on what matters most to those they support 🙏. By taking the time to understand each person’s passions, no matter how big or small, we can help make moments like this happen that mean the world to our wonderful clients 👏!

💜✨ Putting People at the Heart of Care ✨💜

At our recent CareYourWay Conference 🌸, we had the privilege of welcoming the incredible Tommy Whitelaw from Person Centred Voices. Tommy joined our leaders from offices across the UK 🇬🇧 to deliver an inspiring talk and engaging workshop — all focused on one powerful theme: what matters most to those we support 🫶💬.

Tommy’s message was simple yet deeply meaningful 💫: great care begins with understanding — by asking what matters, listening, and then doing what matters🌟.

He also reminded us that "you make a difference" — recognising how every single member of our CareYourWay family plays a vital role in providing compassionate, person-centred support 💜.

Whether it’s a favourite perfume 🌷, choosing a bath over a shower 🛁, or listening to a much-loved song 🎶 — our teams are dedicated to ensuring every decision is made with our clients, not for them 🫶.

We’re excited to continue working with Tommy and his team to strengthen this person-centred approach across CareYourWay 🌸, and we extend our heartfelt thanks for joining us at our conference 🙏, leaving everyone truly inspired to keep making a difference 👏.

💗👚 Today We're Wearing It Pink! 👚💗

It’s officially Wear It Pink Day 🎀, and our wonderful CareYourWay family 🌸 is joining together across all our offices to raise awareness and funds for Breast Cancer Now.

In South Devon 🍂, our fantastic office team is dressed head to toe in pink 💕 — and were treated to a sweet surprise from Nicole, who brought in delicious pink cupcakes for everyone to enjoy 😁🧁!

So far, we’ve raised an amazing £111 🫶, and the fun’s still going strong with sweepstakes, games, and a “guess the number of pink socks” challenge, which the team is busy putting in their guesses 🎉!

Every donation helps make a real difference in supporting vital research and care — and we couldn’t be prouder of our teams and clients for coming together to support such an important cause 🌸🫶.

We’re thrilled to share that CareYourWay's very own Sarah Sabater 🌸, will be chairing the upcoming Care Roadshows in Wales this November — joined by her son Jonathan 💜. Together, they’ll explore what person-centred care truly means in practice and how it can transform lives every day 🌸.

The topic is deeply personal for the Sabater family 🫶. Their experience caring for Sarah’s mother — Jonathan’s grandmother — who lived with dementia for nine years, has helped shape the values that lie at the heart of CareYourWay: compassion, dignity, and care built around what matters most 🏡💫.

Alongside leaders from Allegra Care and Hallmark Luxury Care Homes, Sarah and Jonathan will join a community of passionate professionals to share insights, heartfelt stories, and the importance of keeping care truly person-centred 💬🤝.
