Help wanted please.
Those of you who have been on my First Aid training courses will know that I like to use lots of props and visual aids to help explain different conditions and treatments. Obviously I only teach within the constraints of First Aid but familiarisation with different medication types can really help delegates understanding.
This is where I am looking for some help please. If you have any of the following items; empty or out of date, I would be very grateful if you could pass them on to me to use in my training.
Asthma inhalers - more unusual types and devices
Asthma inhaler spacer - paediatric mask type
Diabetic insulin pens and associated items
Epi-Pen, Jext or Emmerade Auto-Adrenaline Injector Pens (I am most interested in the cases as I have trainer pens but any pens will be discharged safely and disposed of in a sharps bin of not needed)
GTN spray
All items would be emptied safely and cleaned thoroughly before being used in training.
I am also always on the lookout for out of date First Aid kits and contents. I re-use these in training to reduce waste.
If you have any items that I might be able to use, please let me know and I will arrange collection or postage.

It was good to be back in Hythe today working with Families Matter at Hythe URC. They provide excellent care and support to families in the Hythe area. It is a privilege to work with them and provide their Safeguarding Training on a regular basis.

A great summer activity for families to learn vital skills together at Sunnyfields Farm starting next week.

We still have spaces on our Family First Aid Workshops over the summer, starting next week. Spend a morning learning First Aid with your children.
