Today we went out on the ABILITY Bus Service to Frosts in Woburn Sands. We really got into the Christmas spirit 🎄⛄️
Residents enjoyed looking at all the beautiful christmas decorations and had the oppertunity to buy a few Christmas presents. We enjoyed lunch out and some hot teas and coffees to keep nice and warm.

Vera had a special visitor arranged by her family. A Shetland Pony named Blue from Little Hooves, Big Memories
Vera enjoyed this so much and shared this wonderful experience with her family and everyone here.

This morning we played some favourite war time songs in our lounges such as White Cliffs of Dover, We'll Meet Again, Run Rabbit Run, Land of Hope and Glory and many more.... Afterwards we watched live on TV the services being held to mark Armistice Day across the country and also observed the 2 minutes silence at 11am.
A few of our ladies had been busy last week helping to make a lovely poppy display for everyone to enjoy, thank you Brenda and Jennifer for all your help!

We are now having regular monthly visits from Ronnie the therapy dog and his owner, volunteer Robyn from the charity Therapy Dogs Nationwide. Our residents love seeing Ronnie and Robyn as it really boosts their mood and they all enjoy making a fuss of Ronnie which he loves 🐶
