Sarah Toll - Reiki & Wellbeing Reiki is a form of energy healing which restores well-being and brings balance to oneโ€™s life. This manifests as pain, feelings of overwhelm, anxiety, fatigue.

It is a gentle, yet powerful way of shifting slow-moving or blocked energy. Sarah is an experienced Reiki practitioner. Qualified to master level, she has a small private practice and works as a volunteer Reiki master for Macmillan. OOo my fabulous friends over at Wishsticks Wellbeing have created this amazing course! Take a read and join them as they connect with nature in your own time and at your own pace. What could be more enticing than nature as and when you need or want it ๐Ÿ™โœจ๐Ÿฅฐ

We often read the benefits of Connecting with Nature โ€“ it can help to us to feel grounded, re-energised. We can gain some perspective on challenges we are facing. Some counsellors offer walking counselling sessions because they recognise the benefit of being out in the fresh air, moving through nature to aid processing issues. Obviously it can give us a break from the work environment, but sometimes we need a break from the home environment too.

In 2019, we put together a course showing people how to Connect with Nature. We are now refreshing that course and introducing some new ideas. It is a 5 week course which is offered online and can be completed at your own pace.

Each week focuses on a different aspect of Nature, such as Air, Water, Earth. We will be showing you different techniques including Mindfulness, Meditation, Creativity.

The course is run through a Facebook group, giving you the choice to engage with other course members or to complete it as a solo project.

Each week we will have live presentations, Q&A sessions and some slightly more unusual sessions like looking at Ogham Sticks โ€“ an ancient Celtic art using wood from sacred trees. Our Creativity sessions give you the chance to put on your Blue Peter hat โ€“ thereโ€™s leaves, string but no sticky back plastic!

The sessions are downloaded into the group at the beginning of each week so that you can either follow along with us, or you can make use of any spare time you have by taking part on different days. The group remains open for at least three months afterwards so there really is no pressure if life gets in the way. It also means that you can revisit any meditations or exercises you have already completed and enjoyed.

The course starts on 30th March. We have an early bird booking price of ยฃ97 for anyone booking before Monday 16th March. After this time, the full price will be ยฃ197 for the 5 week course.

The dog allowed me to do a little Reiki last night and his back is looking so much better this morning. The energy releases he had were fascinating and he made it quite clear when heโ€™d had enough, but itโ€™s the first time heโ€™d allowed me to work with him. The vibrations from the infected area were intense and he did a number of deep primordial sighs. Marked progress today - for which Iโ€™m grateful. A combined concoction of antibiotics and cleansing with salt water 3x a day and a little energy work will have him back in tip top condition in no time. Well enough to have his surgery that is ๐Ÿซฃ๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

Card of the day:Harmony ๐Ÿค”

This took some thinking about and I ended up with a list of things Iโ€™m juggling at the moment. Itโ€™s a good way of understanding my world and, after staring at the card for some while, it took less than 10 minutes to gather my thoughts. Then, when I came downstairs the cat and the dog were displaying the ultimate in harmony ๐Ÿค— Theyโ€™re so blinking clever ๐Ÿค“๐Ÿคญ

Sarah, Reiki & Mindfulness

Sarah is a qualified, insured Reiki Practitioner who is accredited by the UK Reiki Federation. She works with cancer patients and clients throughout Northamptonshire. Due to COVID restrictions Reiki is only available from a distance, however, it is just as effective so please do not hesitate to contact Sarah to book in for a session. Sarah also provides a relaxation and calming service for pets which helps when enduring stressful situations, it is important to realise that this is a calming service, it isn't for the treatment of conditions diagnosed by your vet, this aspect requires further training. In order to ensure your pet is clinically supported please ensure that you continue to follow the advice of your vet, and when seeking a Reiki practitioner for complementary treatment, refer to https://www.reikifed.co.uk/reiki-healing/animal-reiki for information on what is required of an animal therapist.

Mindfulness is a new venture and Sarah is hoping to set up mindful evening classes within the SW Northants area. This is a new project but as the service develops information will appear on both her FB page and her external website www.igandic.co.uk
