Turning 30 next month and here’s what I do to support healthy ageing & collagen production:
1. Medical-grade skincare
An investment but it works! Backed by clinical research & formulated with higher quality ingredients, they support your skin at a cellular level. You only need a few solid staples for your concerns. Your home routine genuinely makes the biggest difference to your skin’s health!
2. Glabella Botox (between the brows only)
I’m not promoting this as I support many clients who want to avoid anti-wrinkle injections, but for full transparency I’ve had this for the last couple of years because I’ve got a strong frown line. I just love a smooth, glowy forehead. It lasts well for me, so I only have it around every 6 months.
3. Microneedling
The best treatment for collagen induction. I do it every 6–8 weeks through autumn/winter when there’s less sun exposure, and then space it out to every 3 months in spring/summer. Thickens the skin’s density, smooths texture & fine lines, targets scarring & post-breakout marks, and improves overall skin quality.
4. SPF everyday! UV exposure is the number 1 cause of visible skin ageing as it breaks down collagen. If you want to avoid pigmentation and loss of elasticity, you need to wearing a broad-spectrum SPF 365 days a year.
And that’s honestly it, occasionally I’ll do a peel or Hydrafacial if my skin is looking dull and needs a boost, but the above are my main go-to’s.
Plus I try to support my skin from the inside with high protein, antioxidant-rich foods & hydration.
It’s often the simple things, done consistently that lead to long-term skin health.
