Ingrown toenail? Do you know that we offer nail surgery in clinic?

With permission from my patient here is the before and after of a partial nail surgery.

This patient had suffered with a recurring, infected, ingrown toenail that couldn’t be managed conservatively.

We decided that the best option here was a partial nail surgery, removing the ingrown portion permanently under a local anaesthetic.

The first photo was taken before surgery and the second photo during the healing stage at 8 weeks post op. This will continue to heal over the next few weeks.
