About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Nursing Home Administrator to join our team in Tredegar. This role is perfect for someone looking for consistent weekday hours, providing essential support to our residents, staff, and visitors.

Reporting Structure
In this role, you will be working under the direction of the Home Manager and the Registered Nurses to ensure the facility meets its administrative and operational standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the reception area, greeting visitors and handling telephone inquiries professionally.
- Support the Manager and Nurses with documentation, filing, and compliance-related paperwork.
- Maintain accurate resident records and update administrative databases.
- Assist with staff scheduling, payroll preparation, and basic bookkeeping tasks.
- Coordinate with suppliers and manage office inventory.

Requirements

- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A compassionate approach and a professional manner when dealing with residents and their families.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately from clinical and management leadership.

Working Hours
This position is for 30 hours per week, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 15:00.
