When Rachel was told that she needed hearing aids in her early thirties - she froze. She had such a negative perception of hearing aids but when she saw two young men in their 20's with hearing aids and using BSL - her perception changed.

As a children’s entertainer, she thought she would have to give up her job as she believed her new hearing aid would get in the way. But she says that it has actually made her so much better at her job. Now she wants to see more young people proudly showing off their hearing aids. 🦻

As you prepare for the new school year, remember to schedule an eye test. Clear vision is essential for learning, and early detection of any issues can significantly impact your child's academic performance.
