⚠️URGENT UPDATE⚠️
All of our hospitals are currently working under exceptional pressure and we need your help.
Our sites are incredibly busy, limiting the number of beds available for those who require urgent care and resulting in significant waits in the Emergency Departments.
We are strongly urging the public to only attend our Emergency Departments in a life-threatening or limb-threatening emergency.
If you are unsure, you can visit the NHS 111 website for advice on your condition and what steps can be taken.
You can also call 111 to access the Out of Hours Service where a call handler will assess your symptoms and, if needed, and you will receive a call back from a clinician.
If you require urgent mental health support, you can call 111 and press option 2.
We are working hard to free up beds within our hospitals for those patients who need it most. If you have a loved one in hospital who is ready to go home, please work with us to support their safe discharge.
Hospital is not the best place to be for those who no longer require medical care. Patients recover better, gain their independence more quickly and are less likely to catch infections if they are in their own home or a community setting.
