Welcome to a beautifully frosty morning on 1️⃣3️⃣th December ❄️
And yes – you’re absolutely right… only 1️⃣2️⃣ days to go until Christmas! 🎄
Brrr… it’s truly cold outside today! The crisp winter air has brought with it something rather special – Jack Frost has painted magical pictures across our windows,😁😉 transforming LakeView into a winter wonderland. Delicate icy patterns sparkle in the morning light, reminding us just how enchanting this season can be ✨
Now all that’s left to do is keep our fingers crossed for snow! ❄️🤞
Inside LakeView, the warmth of the festive spirit is well and truly alive ❤️
Christmas preparations are in full swing, and our residents are joyfully engaging in a wide range of activities – from playing the trumpet with the help of loved ones, enjoying games at the planning table, to short, refreshing walks in the fresh winter air 🚶♀️🎺🎲
Recently, we also enjoyed a lovely visit to our local Post Office 📮 to send Christmas cards to friends and benefactors. At this special time of year, it means so much to remember those around us and to share kindness, heartfelt words, and the very best of ourselves 💌
We were also delighted to welcome Emma, our Foot Care Practitioner, who visited us last week. Thanks to her wonderful care, our residents’ feet are feeling refreshed and ready for dancing and celebrating at our upcoming Christmas Party 💃🕺
To make the visit even more special, Emma brought a beautiful gift for both staff and residents, now proudly placed under our Christmas tree 🎁🎄
Moments like these remind us that LakeView is not just a care home – it’s a community filled with warmth, connection, and festive joy.
