🌞 Happy Sunday, dear LakeView Family❣️🌸
Firstly, our warmest apologies for the little delay in posting – it's holiday season, and as they say... leisure time is treasured time! 💆‍♀️⛱️

But we’re back – and what a memory we have to share with you today❣️ 🎶💖

Earlier this July, we had the absolute joy and privilege of hosting the amazing Futures2gether Group for a very special concert right here at LakeView. Under the loving guidance of their fantastic mentors and carers, this talented group put on a spectacular performance tailored just for our residents. 🌟🎤

The concert took us on a heartfelt journey through the golden decades of the 50s, 60s, and 70s, featuring iconic hits from legends like Elvis Presley, Roy Orbison, Tom Jones, and many more. 💃🕺🎼

It was a magical afternoon of singing, dancing, toe-tapping and joyful connection – where music became the bridge between generations. 💫 There were laughter, happy tears, and unforgettable moments that truly warmed all our hearts. 💕🎵

To show our gratitude, we treated our lovely guests to a delicious strawberry cheesecake 🍓🍰 and gifted them a bundle of thoughtful treats from our magical “Caring is Sharing” bag – filled with little treasures from Torbay, all wrapped in kindness. 🎁💝

Thank you, dear Futures2gether team – we’re still smiling from your visit and already looking forward to the next one! 🥰 Until then, know that you've made a lasting impact on our community.

🌿✨ We are absolutely overjoyed and immensely proud here at Lake View! ✨🌿

Our hearts are full as we celebrate two of our incredible team members — Nancy Issac, our dedicated Home Manager 👩‍⚕️, and Anna Majkut, our passionate Activities Coordinator 🎨 — who have both been nominated for the 11th annual Staffordshire Dignity in Care Awards! 🌟

These prestigious awards, hosted by Staffordshire County Council, honour the unsung heroes of adult social care — those who ensure dignity and respect remain at the very heart of everything they do. 💖 This year saw an incredible 119 nominations from across — and we are thrilled that two of them came from our Lake View family! 🏡💫

And there’s even more reason to celebrate… 🎉
We are delighted to share that Anna Majkut was highly commended and has been awarded the Care Home Dignity Champion Award! 🏆👏

Anna’s warmth, creativity, and heartfelt dedication shine through in every moment she shares with our residents — this recognition is so well deserved. 🌈

We’re incredibly proud of Team LakeView for organising a 10-mile Memory Walk 🏞️ in support of those living with dementia. On Saturday, 9️⃣th August 2️⃣0️⃣2️⃣5️⃣ at 1️⃣0️⃣:0️⃣0️⃣ AM, we’ll walk not just for our residents, but for every precious memory, every smile, every moment that matters.

This is more than just a walk — it’s a tribute to those we love, those we’ve lost, and those we continue to care for with all our hearts. 💕 Your support, whether as a sponsor or simply cheering us on, means the world to us.

This afternoon, we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming members of Trentham Parish Church to LakeView for a truly special visit.

Our lovely residents were uplifted by a peaceful and spirit-filled service, full of reflection, hymns, and heartfelt prayers — a moment of togetherness that brought comfort, joy, and deep serenity to all who joined.

We were especially moved as Trentham Parish Church members took time to visit our residents individually, offering words of encouragement, warm smiles, and genuine connection. Moments like these remind us how beautiful and powerful community can be.

🌟 We’ve truly been blessed.

🇬🇧🌳✨ Yesterday’s LakeView Team Building Trip to Rosliston Forestry Centre was simply magical Environmental Education Project at Rosliston Forestry Centre SDDC - ❣️ ✨🌳☀️

It was an unforgettable day filled with sunshine, smiles, and fantastic atmosphere! 😍 From the moment we arrived at the beautiful Rosliston Forestry Centre, we were surrounded by nature, fresh air, and incredibly positive energy. 🌿🍃🌞
We enjoyed a wonderful picnic and open-air barbecue 🍗🌭🥗 — something delicious for everyone, flavours for every palate, and pure culinary joy! 😋🥰 There was no shortage of laughter, and the time we spent together brought us even closer as a team. 💬👫🤝
🎯🪁 There were games, fun activities, competitions, prize raffles, and even thrilling rounds of cricket! 🏏😁
One of the highlights of the day was spontaneous dancing and group singing, including vibrant and energetic performances by our amazing colleagues from India, who shared traditional songs from their culture. 💃🎤🇮🇳
It was a moment full of joy, unity, and emotion — something we’ll cherish for a long time. 🎶✨
A heartfelt THANK YOU 💐 to our Directors and Management for organising such a fantastic day and for showing appreciation for the dedication and care we bring to our work every single day. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️💖 Your kind words reminded us just how valued we truly are. 🙏
