I trust what I feel, not what I know.
Trusting logic over intuition once placed me in situations that were genuinely unsafe.
Situations where the signs were there, but I learned to doubt them.
To override the quiet knowing in my body.
To explain it away.
To ask others for reassurance, only to be told what they wanted me to believe.
In hindsight, every experience taught me the same lesson:
That subtle ni**le was never wrong.
Now, if something feels off about a person, a place, or a situation, it’s because something is off.
I don’t stay to gather evidence.
I don’t wait for clarity to arrive through harm.
I don’t need proof, logic, or justification.
If my body says no, it’s a no.
Final.
No explanation required.
This isn’t a place I arrived at easily.
I’ve made many “mistakes”.
I’ve learned through painful, humbling lessons.
But the peace, freedom, and safety of myself and my children, will always come first.
Leaning into trusting myself fully, Jen ❤️
