It was a brother & sister day in the shop yesterday with myself kicking off the day with some amazing therapies before joining Lee in the shop to work through some of our purchases from our visit with our Geologist.

Our speciality shelves are filled to the brim with amazing finds from this haul including:

💎 Vibrant turquoise from Iran (~20–30 million years old) to mesmerising Ethiopian opals (~4–5 million years old), we’ve brought in a stunning selection of gemstones and cabochons – perfect for jewellery making or adding to your crystal collection.

☄️ For the cosmic collectors, we’ve topped up on tektites including Moldavite (~14.8 million years old, formed from a meteorite impact), Indochinite (~700,000 years old) with its deep black sheen, and the rare beauty of Andamooka opal on matrix (~100 million years old) shimmering with rainbow fire.

💜 And of course, we couldn’t resist securing some exceptional Blue John direct from the famous Treak Cliff Caverns (~300 million years old) – a truly unique British treasure with its distinctive bands of purple, blue, and gold.

💧 One of the most fascinating additions to this haul – En Hydro agates with ancient water bubble inclusions, believed to be around 250 million years old – holding a tiny piece of Earth’s history you can actually see move!

🦖✨ We may have gone a bit prehistoric at Beyond Bliss… but honestly, we couldn’t help ourselves! 🦖✨

As some of you already know, Lee is obsessed with dinosaurs — we’re talking full-blown Dinosaur Sleeve Tattoo level of commitment here. So when I was away on my recent buying trip and spotted these insanely detailed T-Rex crystal head carvings in Jasper and Chocolate Calcite, there was no chance I was walking past them! 🦴💎

But wait… there’s more! We also have:

🦈 Megalodon Teeth from California – approx 20 million years old

🦈 Mako Shark Teeth – around 5 million years old

🐚 Ammonite Fossils – dating back 240 to 65 million years, these ancient marine creatures once swam in Earth’s warm shallow seas and are now preserved in the most beautiful spiral formations 🌀
