Bloom 💐

As many of you know, Bloom are in their final few weeks. While we’re sad to see this chapter close, we’re so excited for the new one Sylwia and Peter are stepping into.

Bloom has been a huge part of our journey at HQ. From Christmas lunches and mini retreats to the smallest community moments, they’ve always shown up for us with warmth, kindness, and the tastiest treats imaginable. They’ve brought so much joy to our events and to our members, and we’re incredibly grateful for everything they’ve done.

Although their doors are closing, we’re lucky we’ll still see their lovely faces around town. 💛

Thank you to you guys and your amazing team for making so many memories for us around your love language of great food and even better coffee ☕️ 💐

What a week it’s been 💙

You can see we’ve been sneaking in some Christmas cheer at HQ. It’s been a busy one, filled with great effort and energy, and plenty of tough sessions in this month’s programming.

We also visited Marr to help the S5s with their mock interviews, getting them ready to take on the world of work. Continuing that theme, we headed into Troon Primary to talk about Coach Lucy and what our job roles involve. I even got a lovely question at the end of the session: “What do you love most about your job?” My answer was easy… the people. I get to see so many of your wonderful faces each day and be a part of your journey, and that truly means so much to me.

And to finish the week with Claire G on the Saturday sessions, we headed down to watch April complete her 25th Troon Parkrun 🏃‍♀️ on her 11th birthday!

Showing Up for Yourself 💙

Some days, life feels heavy. Motivation slips, energy fades, and the to do list never ends. But showing up for yourself even in small ways is so important.

It’s not always about big wins or perfect routines. Sometimes it’s getting up and moving your body, taking a walk, or choosing to take some time away for you when things feel tough.

Showing up looks different for everyone but what matters most is that you do it for you. Because each time you do, you remind yourself that you matter, your goals matter, and your well being matters.

You’re allowed to show up for yourself too sometimes 💙 it’s all about the baby steps.

Movement is Medicine 🌿

Exercise isn’t just about chasing personal bests or building muscle it’s one of the most powerful forms of self-care we have.

When you move your body, you’re strengthening so much more than just your muscles. You’re boosting your immune system, supporting your mental health, improving your energy, and building the resilience that helps you bounce back when life (or illness) hits hard.

The reasons we train can change from day to day sometimes it’s about progress and performance, sometimes it’s about peace of mind, and sometimes it’s simply about staying strong enough to make everyday life easier.

So when you want to curl back under the covers and snooze that alarm, remember your future self will thank you for looking after them so well.

Monday thoughts 💭

We know that getting back into routine can sometimes feel like the biggest hurdle. When you’ve been away for a while, you almost forget the rhythm of it all packing your gym clothes to take to work, setting that early alarm, and pushing yourself to get it done before the day begins.

So, as we start a new week, here are three reminders of why we move and exercise:

1. Investing in Your Future

Think of exercise like a pension — the earlier and more consistently you invest in it, the bigger the return when you really need it. Every session is a deposit into your long-term health and wellbeing.

2. The Instant Endorphin Boost

Movement gives you that instant lift... the happy hormones that help you take on the world. It’s that buzz you feel after a great class or workout, the one that reminds you exactly why you showed up.

3. Building Mental Toughness

There’s nothing quite like finishing a tough workout and knowing you did that. No one else... you. Each time you push through, you top up that mental resilience pot that carries into every other part of your life.

Because movement really does make everything better. It makes life more enjoyable and easier ... when you move better, you feel better, you eat better, you live better.

Coach Lucy

In the last five years of studying health, fitness I have had loads of opportunities to work in this industry. The more I have taken on the more experience I have gained. Working with people of all ages with different goals in mind.

That's the great thing about my job its never boring no two people I work with are the same and everyone has a different reason for wanting my support.

Maybe its to gain knowledge, encourage you to try something new or just the support of having me there in this new training environment. Your reasons for wanting me as your coach are special and I am always exceptionally proud to be a part of that.

I work with individuals who are looking to change their lifestyle in the long run, not just quick fixes. I work with you to build a relationship so that you take as much as possible away for our sessions or coaching online.
