What a fab week and weekend.
Restorative with a difference ‘creative restorative’ according to one student. Using sufficient props to turn even Parivrtta Trikonasna into a restful pose.
In Saturday’s workshop, we developed our understanding of what our body needs when. It’s easy to tip into practice habits and become mechanical. Each practice should honour how we are that day. How we slept, what we did the day before, the season, our mental state. This is as much our self-study, svadhyaya, as our careful alignment and positioning on the mat.
And then on to an Oktoberfest party 🙏🙏🙏Sharon and Richard. Very much fun, right up until the cling film 😳🤣😬
A ropey practice this morning followed by a hike to the top of my local hill. What Sundays were made for ❤️
