👋 Meet Kirstie!

Kirstie joined our Reablement Team in September as a Senior Support Worker in the West. 🌟

With 13 years of experience working with a learning disabilities charity, Kirstie decided to take on a new challenge and join the council. 💪 She’s loving the journey so far, from a brilliant training package to a supportive, welcoming team guiding her through induction.

✨ “I enjoy learning something new every day and building on my skills while working alongside the Occupational Therapy team. Reablement is amazing because it supports people through their recovery journey – from hospital to regaining independence or moving into long-term support. I’m so happy to be part of this team and look forward to the opportunities ahead!”

The event gave current Occupational Therapy students the chance to connect with potential employers and also welcomed students exploring careers in healthcare.

"Hi, I’m Leanne and I’ve recently joined the Reablement team as a Senior Administrative Officer in the South. Before this, I worked within the Children’s Services department, but I was ready for a new challenge. When I saw the role in Reablement, I knew I had to apply!

It’s been lovely to feel so welcomed by the team, and I’m looking forward to developing my skills and settling into my new role."
