✨ A truly heart‑warming moment! ✨

As part of our ongoing commitment to listening to the people we support, our Team Leaders were asked to visit customers whilst they were still receiving Reablement care and undertake a short customer survey. These face‑to‑face conversations help us understand how things are going and ensure we’re providing the best possible service.

🌟 Why customer voices matter🌟
As a CQC‑registered service, customer feedback isn’t just valuable — it’s essential. Hearing directly from the people we support helps us continually improve, ensures we’re meeting the standards expected of us, and keeps the care we provide truly person‑centred. Listening to real experiences shapes the way we grow and deliver safe, responsive, high‑quality care.

Last week, Sabrina from our South Team met with a customer who shared just how much the care and support meant. He was so delighted that before the visit ended, he began singing — a beautiful and unexpected moment that brightened everyone’s day. 🎶💜

🌟 Star of the Month - January 🌟

North – Elijah
Elijah stepped in twice at very short notice to support customers in crisis. Each time, he provided calm, compassionate support and stayed with customers until they were safe. Incredible dedication!

South – Naledi
Naledi is recognised for outstanding attention to detail and excellent knowledge of our policies. Her commitment ensures customers receive safe, high‑quality support every time.

West – Adrian
Adrian handled a serious situation on Friday evening with professionalism and quick action when a customer fell and hit her head. His prompt response made all the difference.

We were proud to attend the Early Careers Open Evening, speaking with young people aged 13–18 about the rewarding careers available in Reablement and Occupational Therapy.

Attending from our team were: Principal OT Mary, West OT Manager Nicky, Advanced Prac OT Nicola, OT Valerie and OTA Peggy.
A great opportunity to inspire future talent! 🌟

✨ Out and About in the Community! ✨

Yesterday, Senior Support Worker Gemma and Senior Administrative Officer Helen represented our Reablement Service at the Careers Fair at The John of Gaunt School, Trowbridge.

They took along a range of our reablement equipment for students to explore and interact with, which sparked some brilliant conversations. It was fantastic talking to the young people about:
🔹 How Reablement supports people to regain independence
🔹 The different roles within our service
🔹 Future career pathways in care and support

They had a great time, and the students asked some fantastic questions, a really inspiring day all round!
