Neil Leitch the CEO of the Early Years Alliance on the news this morning.
He took the words out of my mouth regarding what children need this morning.
At the start of the interview he talked about parents/ careers just not having enough time with their children to attach. Highlighting the need for both parents to work full time to make ends meet.
Sounds like his work to support families is well needed.

Changing my page over today from childminding to counselling.
After 10 years of childminding I have said goodbye to my last little gang of children.
It was an amazing last day together, we played, had a fire, cooked lots of party foods and just enjoyed each other's company one last time.
6 years of those 10 I have been training as a counsellor and then extended my adult training to work with children and young people.
My garden cabin will soon be ready for referrals if you are looking for counselling or know someone who is. Feel free to send me a message 🙏❤️.

Posting some wonderful moments since coming back to work after breaking my ankle.
We have all missed each other and will be making the most of my last few weeks as a childminder.
August 2014 - August 2024. It's been a magical time but time to move on with working with children therapeutically after nearly 6 years in training. ❤️
