☕Pop along to our Memory Cafe ☕

If you living with dementia or looking after someone with memory concerns why not pop along to our monthly memory cafe?

Each month you'll be able to enjoy a different activity and chat to people who are in similar circumstances to you.

No need to book, just turn up.

From today, pregnant women and eligible children can book their flu vaccine. From 1 October, all other eligible patients can get their flu & COVID vaccines and we’ll be in touch with them to arrange appointments.

We’re reminding parents to make sure their children are up to date with their MMR vaccinations. 2 doses of the MMR vaccine provide the best protection against measles, mumps and rubella.

Our friendly online training course for family carers returns on Wednesday 10th September - and we’ll be covering everything from understanding dementia to the legal and financial aspects of caring - giving you knowledge, confidence and plenty of space for questions along the way.

The bank holiday is fast approaching and that means the surgery will be closed on Monday 25 August.

Please remember that other services will be available for you, these include:

Pharmacies - can offer advice and guidance on a range of minor illnesses and this can include prescriptions for antibiotics and over the counter medication.

NHS 111 - should you need a little extra help, contact the NHS 111 team and they will triage your call and see if you need to be seen face to face or just have a consultation over the phone. Being bank holiday remember you may have to wait a little while for this telephone call.

A&E - Please use emergency services responsibly and for minor illness, cuts and bruises please use your local pharmacy or NHS 111.
