Lovely room visits recently with our residents, animal therapy, poetry reading, pampering them with nail painting, making flower crowns, memory boxes, making bracelets and check out the beautiful art work collages they have made 🤩

We have loved making connections with local businesses in Trowbridge recently, shout out to Natures Sanctuary who gifted us a beautiful basket of goodies for a raffle prize this year - their shop smells so good I'm going back as soon as I can. We have also loved our residents getting involved with helping put decorations up and making crafts to sell, they have been such a great help, here's Denise presenting our homemade bunting outside - reusable for other events 🤩

HUGE thank you again to all of our incredible team for this years Summer Festival - everyone pulled together ahead of it and on the day to create a beautiful event to celebrate our residents and . 🥳 We even had a visit from the Deputy Mayor who chatted to the residents and enjoyed soaking up the festival atmosphere.

Big thanks to our fab kitchen team and servers for the excellent buffet, to Chef Sue for coming in on her day off, to all the volunteers who showed up to run stalls, move tables, arrange flowers and run quizzes! 😍

Care and nursing team I am in constant awe of your efforts and thanks for getting our lovely residents up to see the choir in the morning and to enjoy the rest of the day. 💪

Thanks to the wonderful family members who donated raffle prizes, cakes, bought crafts from the residents craft stall and brought wonderful energy to the day - cheers to Vicky who diligently face painted butterflies and unicorns, the kids loved it! 😀

Great work by our housekeeping team to prepare and present the home at it's shiniest and best, they are now doing great work on the clean up as I type!

Despite Charlie head of maintenance not donning the planned wig he had more than one comment about his 80's outfit so we will forgive him. Especially as he's worked tirelessly putting up gazebos, decs, getting the garden looking glorious and much more. 🤯

Also a big welcome to the team for Rachael - she's joined us on Activities and we are so happy to have her with us 🤩

F1 weekend here at Trowbridge Oaks, we had a brilliant time playing our DIY F1 game, some dynamic techniques with dice throwing including a high throw by John and a twist by Bob! Can't wait for the Silverstone race today!
