Another gorgeous artist collab in time for Xmas! Abel Burners X Anchorage Woodworks 🪵 This burner boasts beautiful premium reclaimed Oak wood, expertly set into blue eco resin to create a truly unique burner base. Inspired by the beautiful Cornish coast 🌊 Finished with our signature Copper stand this is limited to a run of only 10 burners (7 left for pre Xmas delivery!!) we also have a couple of the smoked resin left. Both tagged!

HALWYN 🌊 I can’t believe we’ve managed this in time for Christmas .wongwichien_pottery 🕯️ A small number are on the site now for pre Xmas delivery 📦

Shayla Wongwichien is a Thai-Canadian ceramicist living on her Husband’s ancestral farmland in Halwyn, Cornwall, with her two children. Working from her summerhouse studio with views over the Camel Estuary, Shayla has created these unique candle vessels to Kat and Ash’s brief from wild foraged clay, and a glaze made from Blackthorn ash fired in Shayla’s studio wood burner, Cornish stone, quartz and rain water.

The candles have been completed by Abel Burners using natural vegetable wax and delicately scented with deep, earthy wood sage and fresh sea salt; inspired by Halwyn and Shayla’s summerhouse studio views.

For those who grabbed one last time, the glaze is slightly darker this time around - the land and the hands create something slightly different each time 🫶
