Threemilestone Amateur Dramatics society are performing Chatroom at Lane Theatre in Newquay from 5th-7th September. The Psychiatric Liaison team have supported by offering information and sign posting to anyone experiencing suicidal thoughts in response to one of the play's themes.

Cornwall Liaison psychiatry services sent representatives from the team to annual Royal College of Psychiatry liaison faculty conference in london. We submitted three posters highlighting current issues and research within the liason team. Two of our staff members were asked to speak; Dr Will Lee (Consultant Psychiatrist) and Suzanne Burton (Operational Lead Nurse ). How fantastic to be recognised by the wider liaison commmunity for our contributions.

Some our lovely team members took part in yesterday’s Race for Life in Falmouth, raising funds for cancer research uk. They have raised £360 so far. Link in the comments for any further donations 😀

Some of the Psychiatric Liaison Team attended the Towards Zero Su***de Conference today at Heartlands. They faciliated a workshop exploring our window of tolerance and ways to try and manage in a crisis. The workshop was warmly received and we have had some really positive feedback. An excellent conference of like minded, positive people all striving for a common goal
