Drums Up Music & Rhythm Therapy Providing Music & Rhythm interaction to promote A deep sense of joy cognitive stimulation physical exercise through creative expression.

Rob has many years of experience working with people who have learning difficulties and palliative care needs. We have been lucky enough to offer a couple of drumming workshops on our mental health ward and had great feedback from patients who have attended. Patients attending had described the workshop as fun, a good distraction, a way of relaxing with peers and staff and as confidence boosting. Those who didn’t attend but listened to the music being created expressed they would have liked to have joined and would like to try if there are further opportunities to do so. The workshop was provided by Rob, a talented musician who offers a large selection of drums and other instruments -enough for a very large group of patients so the vast majority could attend if they so wished.​ Always a lot of fun and we look forward to the next workshop!
