This week we had exercises with poms poms, bingo and we had the lovely Remember this Duo Roger and Mel again singing our favourites 😊
Lots of singing and laughter.
Laughing increases the brain's production of endorphins — the natural way your body relieves pain, reduces stress and boosts mood.
That really did show today for our Residents

Another lovely morning outing in the sunshine down to Malpas Park with Cynthia.
Coffee and cake then a lovely walk to see the baby ducklings and to see the beautiful flowers 💐 😎

We have had a busy bees this week with trips out, bingo, Torran from G Fitness doing exercise classes and Gregg singing our favourites!
Lots of effort into keeping life vibrant and engaging for all our Residents 😊

A lovely morning spent down at Maplas park, coffee and cake and a lovely walk around the duck pond. We spent time in the gardens looking at the beautiful flowers. Cynthia and Paula had a lovely morning, they really did enjoy it 😊

We had the pleasure of Claire with a heartwarming morning with music therapy.
We sang oldies but goldies together, smiles, laughter and making memories 🎹🎤🎵🥰

What a lovely morning outing to Malpas Park for Loretta. We had a latte and cake then a lovely walk around the duck pond. We walked around the gardens to see the beautiful flowers.
Loretta said it is a lovely place and she felt very lucky to get out and see it all. She very much had a wonderful time. 🙂

Over the last week or so we have been busy from bingo, ice creams in the garden, painting sessions, exercises and we had the pleasure of Remember this Duo Roger and Mel entertaining our Residents with some favourite oldie goldies 🎤🎹🎸🎵
Also the lovely Claire playing some beautiful music on her volin from Andre Rieu to all classics then to Tina Tunrner simply the best!
We all had a blast, amazing memories and so much joy 😊

Today we had the pleasure of Torran from G Fitness visiting us for a exercise class.

Our Residents enjoyed a group exercise session of movement to music, strength, mobility work, balance, brain games to promote cognitive simulation and adapted Tai-Chi.

We all enjoyed it and they all had much fun and lots of laughter 😃

Today we had a special visit from ZooLab

Emily came with

Gary the giant African snail
Slinky the Millipede
Jessie the Tarantula
Dandelion the Gecko
Stanley the Fat tailed Gerbil

All our Residents enjoyed the animal therapy session, it encourages social interaction, sensory simulation and a great talking point for us all.
Everyone had a great time and all were so very brave and was very intrigued 🐭🐉🐚🕷
