Safer Futures offers support, safety planning, advice, therapy and recovery for anyone experiencing domestic abuse.

Gentle strength exercises can help build muscle, making everyday activities like walking further, carrying shopping or spending more time outdoors feel easier. When your muscles are stronger, your heart doesn’t have to work as hard to keep you moving.

Whether you’re just getting started or taking things at your own pace, heart‑healthy strength exercises can be adapted to suit your ability and done at home.
