50 years ago Tremorvah was set up to help disabled people into employment. Today is a sad day as we close our doors for good. What an amazing journey it has had. We would like to thank everyone past and present that has contributed to make a huge difference to everyone that has passed through its doors. From Stairlifts, Hoists, Customer Services, Stores, Assistive Tech, Workshop , Textiles, and Showroom. Thank you. Xx

Tremorvah has always made an effort to contribute to this amazing cause from equipment donated back to us free of charge. Everything that was donated was checked and kept for clients that were financially struggling and couldn't afford a new one. We only ever asked for a donation to the Air Ambulance.
We felt very emotional to receive this card today. The last collection box winged it's way back and we are very sad that our time has come to an end to contribute. But many thanks for the lovely card and acknowledgment.

Tremorvah Industries was developed from a rehabilitation centre founded over 50 years ago, at City Hospital in Truro. Initially engaged in therapeutic work, it enabled the benefits of providing gainful employment for the less able.
The building holds many memories for many people.
We are happy to tell you that from July 4th the showroom will join the Cornwall Friends mobility centre on the Royal Cornwall Hospital site at Treliske.
We would just like to thank our clients and employees past and present and join us for a trip down memory lane with a few memorable pics.

I love training and brainstorming. This successful trial of a Silvalea positioning sling and the Air Comfort chair will enable a lady who cannot bend her knees and is very positional to get up into a chair
The 5 a side adjustable loops on the sling meant we could make it more precise where support was needed. You can see the side transfer aligns perfectly
Thanks to Andy Blewitt from Silvalea for volunteering to be hoisted.

This lovely Boston tilt in space chair when I take it out for assessment rarely comes back with me. Why? Because it's like having a comfy bed on wheels that means even the frailest client can sit up and come out of their room to interact and socialise and not be in bed staring at the ceiling. Built-in pressure management. Back angle recline and a realm of accessories from wedge blockers, interchangeable backrests, head supports and adjustability to keep them safe and supported. Another Action 3 and Via Go push assist going out today. Makes carers and loved ones life so much easier around our beautiful but notoriously hilly County of Cornwall.
This in turn opens up accessibility, distance and enjoyment for the client to see more of it.
