Re: Silence Is Not a Harmony!!
Dear Brilliant Choir People,
Last year you all declared (with great passion and possibly alcohol-fuelled enthusiasm) that you absolutely wanted to continue singing together.
And yet…
This year, I am experiencing… radio silence.
(A bold artistic choice, but not ideal for a choir.)
So! In the true spirit of the Class of ’25, we are doing what we do best: pivoting with flair.
This year:
We are not repeating the Shower to Stage set list.
We are choosing our own songs so each of you must bring one song suggestion.
We are having FUN and a social time along the way
We are doing it our way.
Because that was always the best part.
Originally I suggested starting on Monday 23rd February.
However, due to what I can only assume is a nationwide outage affecting the “Reply” button, I am generously moving it to Monday 2nd March @ 6.30pm
Please respond and confirm you’re in.
Failure to do so will result in one of the following consequences (to be determined at my whim):
* Being assigned an interpretive solo.
* Automatic nomination for high harmony in every song.
* Forced kazoo accompaniment.
* Or worse… a power ballad duet with me.
You have been warned.
Let’s revive the magic of last year — but bigger, freer, and entirely ours.
