Over the past week, Storm Goretti has left many parts of Cornwall battered & disrupted. A week on & some Cornwall residents are still without power and water 😞

We want to say a huge thank you to our incredible Bluebird Care teams who continued to show up, check in, and care for people through some very tough conditions. Your dedication, kindness and determination have meant so much to the people who rely on you. 💙

We also want to thank ✨ All carers across Cornwall 🚑 Emergency service crews 🛠️ Those clearing roads, paths and fallen trees⚡ Utility workers restoring power and water 🤝 Neighbours and volunteers looking out for one another

The strength of this community has truly shone through. Cornwall looks after its own — and we are proud to be part of that.

Bluebird Care Mid and West Cornwall was started as a franchise of the Bluebird Care brand in 2012 by Graham and Carol Carruthers. From then we have grown to cover from Lostwithiel to the Isles of Scilly, providing for all types of care including domiciliary, Outreach, 24 hours care and Live In with a dedicated team of over 100 Care Assistants and Support Workers.

We value individuality, respect, dignity and person centred care for all of our customers as well as the hard work, reliability and flexibility provided by our highly trained staff teams. Our teams can assist to undertake tasks ranging from personal care to accessing the community, to companionship to supporting on a short break.
