Our centres hire out manual wheelchairs, powerchairs, and mobility scooters 🦽🛵 — making it easier for people of all ages to access shops, leisure facilities, and community spaces.

With low-cost or sometimes free hire, and reliable equipment you can trust, ShopMobility provides confidence, comfort, and peace of mind ✨.

👏 A big thank you to Aidan (age 8) and Caleb (age 7) – two of the youngest volunteers at Shopmobility Renfrewshire!

During the summer holidays, they’ve been lending a hand by helping to tidy up our marketing stall and distributing our brand-new QR codes across Paisley. 🌟

It’s wonderful to see their enthusiasm and energy making a real difference. We’re so grateful for their support, and we’re excited to have them volunteering with us throughout their school break. 💙

We’re thrilled to announce ShopMobility Rushmere as the Centre of the Month for its outstanding commitment to accessibility and independence.

"Through the ShopMobility scheme, we're making Rushmere more accessible for individuals with limited mobility—ensuring that everyone can enjoy everything our centre and retail park have to offer," said Claudia Morelli, Marketing at Rushmere.

They have recently invested £21,000 in six brand-new Motion Xcite mobility scooters, and the feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive. These new scooters are already contributing to an enhanced visitor experience throughout Rushmere Shopping Centre and Retail Park. 🙌

"We were delighted to partner with Mobility Direct NI for their expertise in helping us select the ideal scooters for our community," Claudia adds.

✅ Hire is offered free of charge through the Guest Services Team.
💡 Training included – first-time users receive a quick session to build confidence and understand where scooters can be used safely.
👉 How to apply: Visit the Guest Services Desk at Rushmere to sign up for membership and take a scooter out during your visit for use within the shopping centre and the pathways around the Retail Park (not on public roads or external footpaths).
