🌿 Thinking about our 300-hour training… but not sure you want to teach?

You’re not alone — and you’re absolutely welcome.
Many people join the 300-hour course simply because they love yoga, want to deepen their understanding, or feel ready for something more spacious and meaningful in their practice. Teaching isn’t a requirement… and it’s certainly not the only reason to train.

Our 300-hour programme is a chance to study yoga in a way regular classes don’t allow: to explore philosophy, refine your practice, understand the body more deeply, and grow alongside a supportive group of fellow yogis.

And who knows — sometimes the path unfolds in unexpected ways. Our principal teacher Jock joined his first training with no intention of ever teaching… and now co-teaches the whole programme. ✨

Whether you feel drawn to teaching in the future or simply want to deepen your connection to yoga, you’re warmly invited to explore the next step in your journey.

✨ Applications for our 300-hour Teacher Training which starts in January are still open.

As winter settle in, many of us feel stretched, tired, or in need of a proper reset.

Our Wim Hof Method Fundamentals Workshop this December is the perfect way to reconnect, recharge and create a little space for yourself before the year ends.

Through breathwork, cold exposure and simple mindful practices, the Wim Hof method helps you find calm, clarity and strength from within.

We’re so happy to welcome back Sam Boot, our friend and incredible Level 2 Wim Hof instructor. Sam isn’t with us often, which makes this a rare chance to learn from someone who brings warmth, safety and real depth to the practice.

If you’re curious about the method, looking for new challenges, or wanting to head into winter feeling clearer and more resilient, this workshop is a beautiful place to begin.

The evening tweaks to our timetable continue with our popular Yin Yoga class, led by Kitty Billings.

Kitty’s much-loved Yin class has been growing in popularity, and we’re so pleased to be expanding it to the whole studio, so more of you can join.

This new, whole studio Yin class will take place on Tuesday evenings from TONIGHT, 4th November.

Expect the same soothing atmosphere, gentle guidance, and grounding stillness in the expert hands of Kitty - now with extra space to stretch, settle, and sink in.

Our next Autumnal timetable change announcement is to Ashtanga Inspired Yoga 🍂

This dynamic class, led by Roxi Peacock, is changing slots from Tuesday to Monday evenings from 3rd November, at the same time of 6:30-8pm.

However, next Monday will be Roxi’s last class before she heads off on her winter travels to India 🌏✨ and we’re so happy to welcome Josh Bolding to the schedule — he’ll be looking after Roxi’s classes while she’s away.

Josh, also a recent LHY TT graduate, brings a grounded, accessible approach to practice and we’re delighted to have him joining our teaching team over the coming months.

He will step in officially from Monday 10th November until the end of January upon Roxi’s return.

We’d like to take this opportunity to wish Roxi a safe and wonderful trip to India - we will miss you! Book her last class this Monday now - limited spaces on Monday as always.

You can also now find Josh’s classes on the schedule — we’d love to see you there and know you will join us in welcoming him to the schedule 💚🧘‍♀️

We are excited to officially announce the first change to our weekly timetable! After 4 wonderful years at the helm, Fiona is handing over the Beginner’s Yoga baton to Candice Quarmby, an experienced yoga teacher and 500 hour LHY TT graduate!

Beginner’s Yoga, led by Candice, will be taking place on Monday evenings, at 6:30-7:45pm from Monday 3rd November. There will no longer be a Beginner’s class on a Tuesday.

About Candice:

Over her 7 years living in South East Asia, Candice’s practice took her to many Yoga studios in the region, meeting and relating to practitioners of various cultures and life backgrounds.

She decided to train as a Yoga teacher in Thailand in 2016, and completed a further 300hr Teacher Training course with Lime House Yoga and now holds her 500hr certification.

We are thrilled that she is joining our weekly class schedule - come along and try her class from 3rd November.

The Happiest of birthdays to Jock 🥳

Today, we can celebrate not just an incredible teacher, but the heart of our studio. You’ve created a space filled with kindness, connection, and genuine community — something truly special.

Sometimes, we think you might need reminding of everything you’ve achieved (mainly because you never stop for long enough to do so! 😂) From starting classes in a room on the back of your house to creating the most inspiring, purpose-built studio from the ground up, you’ve poured your heart and soul into every part of it — and continue to do so every day. What you’ve built is more than a studio; it’s a true community.

Thank you for everything you do, for the way you teach, listen, and lift everyone up (even on the tough days). You’re so appreciated by all of us — students and teachers alike.

Happy Birthday Mr Lime House! And here’s to you — and to another year of shared practice, laughter, and growth. 💛
