Lime House Yoga Creating Community Through Yoga

Garden (or more specifically, Orchard) update 🍎

If you’ve got a few quiet minutes, grab a cuppa and join Jock and Christine in the orchard as they walk us through tree grafting, a quiet practice, rooted in patience, which he started a few weeks ago.

And if you’ve never noticed the Orchard, have a little look next time you’re here - you can’t miss it!

Happy Easter — however you’re spending it 😊💛

A big thank you to everyone who came to the Open Studio yesterday — to our teachers, our students, and everyone who walked through the doors and made it what it was. It was another lovely day of practice, laughter, learning and community and we’re so grateful.

We’re open as usual tomorrow, will all morning and evening classes running as normal:

• Mysore ~ 7am with Amy
• Gentle Vinyasa ~ 10am with Amy
• Beginners Yoga ~ 6:30pm with Josh
• Ashtanga Inspired ~ 6:30pm with Roxi

so if you’re ready to move, stretch, or just land back into routine, you know where we are.

“There is virtue in work and there is virtue in rest. Use both and overlook neither.”
— John Ruskin

Ahead of our 5 day Ashtanga Immersion in October, we are holding our next Intro to Mysore workshop on Sunday 10th May - an ideal introduction for those wanting to set foot on their own self-practice path.

Joining Mysore (self-practice classes) gives the student the benefit of 1:1 time with their teacher, unlike most led classes, and you will receive support and guidance on each individual stage of learning and mastering the sequence, tailored to your own ability and uniqueness.

It’s also a wonderful community, and here at Lime House, students and teachers usually sit afterwards and share thoughts and experiences on their own self-practice journeys and solidify their bond as Ashtanga practitioners.

Join highly experienced Ashtanga teacher Jock for our next Intro to Mysore workshop on Sunday 10th May and embark on a safe and sustainable lifelong practice.

A different kind of gathering 🌱

This spring we’re hosting Reverence for the Waterways - a six-hour communal meditation and environmental performance led by artist Andrew Whittle, in collaboration with Beach Guardian and Clean Ocean Sailing.

At its centre is the slow, careful act of separating microplastics from organic material collected from the River Fal.

Over time, this becomes something more than a task - a shared act of attention, care, and reflection on the impact of plastic pollution on both environment and body.

It’s not your typical workshop, and it won’t be for everyone - but for those it resonates with, it may offer something quite meaningful.

Donation-based. Limited places.

A softer kind of practice this Saturday.

If everything’s been feeling a little full lately - busy, noisy, slightly relentless - this is a chance to step out of that for a while.

This Saturday’s Aerial Yoga Restorative workshop is designed to support the body completely, using the hammock to hold you in gentle, restful shapes while the nervous system gradually settles.

No effort. Nothing to push through. Just space to slow down, soften, and reset.

If you’ve enjoyed our Aerial Yin & Sound Bath, this carries a similar feeling - just quieter, slower, and with plenty of time to properly rest.

A few spaces remain this Saturday 😌

Happy International Women’s Day

A quiet acknowledgement today of the many women who have shaped life at Lime House.

Our teachers, who turn up week after week with depth of knowledge, patience and kindness - holding space for others with remarkable generosity.

Emma, who does far more behind the scenes than most people ever see.

Debs, constantly grateful for shaping and being shaped by LHY.

Daisy, helping keep the wheels turning and the coffees running.

And the many women who practise here - bringing strength, curiosity, humour and warmth into the room.

To all those doing a remarkable range of things, often all at once.

Otter insisted on dressing appropriately for the occasion.

Jock, being born and bred Cornish, fully supports the effort.

We couldn’t let St Piran’s Day pass without a small nod to the land we’re lucky enough to call home.

Here’s to Cornwall - our rugged, wild, beautiful corner of the world.

Dydh Da Gool Peran! from all at Lime House 🖤🤍

ITALY 2026 🇮🇹

From 20-27 June we return to a hilltop village on the Tuscan–Umbrian border for a week of yoga, sunshine and a slightly slower pace of life.

Morning practice with Jock.
Long views across the countryside.
Good food, good company and plenty of time simply to enjoy being there.

It’s one of our favourite weeks of the year.

Spaces filling up fast. Details via the link in bio 🙏🏻

OPEN STUDIO DAY 2026

Our annual day of free 30-minute tasters returns this Easter Saturday 4th April.

A chance to try something new.
A chance to revisit something familiar.
A chance to book something you wouldn’t normally book.

From meditation to Ayurveda, chanting to ropes, Ashtanga-inspired practice to breath and sound — it’s a small but mighty snapshot of what happens at Lime House throughout the year.

It’s free. It’s friendly. It’s become a bit of a tradition.

Spaces are limited as each taster takes place in half the studio, so booking ahead is wise to grab your spot in your favourites.

Simply find 4th April in the app and book your desired tasters. And if you’ve got a friend who always says, “I should try yoga sometime…” — this is your moment to bring them along. Our
Open Studio Day is designed to be easy. Try ropes. Try meditation. Try chanting. Try something you wouldn’t normally book. No cost, no pressure - just a chance to experience the studio and meet some friendly faces.

We’d love to see you there.
