What a morning! The Fantastic Four headed to Coverack today, starting inland through misty woods and fields to St Keverne before making our way out to a moody autumnal coast. We had it all, rain, wind, mist and mizzle, but nothing dampened our spirits. As we reached Coverack, the sun made a cheeky appearance, just enough to dry us off. A fab day with a fab bunch!

Yesterday our very own Magnificent Seven tackled the Kynance to Lizard loop, eating up the miles with a few cheeky twists along the way. There were plenty of ups and downs (just the terrain), choughs calling out more than showing up, and the usual mix of laughs, tall tales and random factoids. Finished off with cake, of course, a brilliant day all round.

Love a bit of Cornish weather….sun, wind, showers, the lot. Still the best way to kick off the week: a brisk Nordic walk at Mylor. Fresh legs, clear head, ready for anything.

Today we were the Hard Core 4…none of that Famous Five, sunshine and picnics nonsense! 🤣 We braved the wind, the rain, and the… alright, alright, it was actually quite warm. A storming walk around Loe Pool, over Loe Bar, then a much needed cuppa at Penrose National Trust Finished with a cool down and stretch, mainly so we could pretend we were athletes and not just coffee hunters 🙃 Kelly

A warm stomp around the Woodland Walk at Trelissick this morning, finished with coffee on the steps while looking across to Pendennis Castle. A great way to spend a Tuesday morning.

Sun, sea, and ice cream (but no ginger beer this time). The Famous Five and friends were out, and I took on the role of the dog! Five miles of ups and downs along the cliffs past Poldhu, Polurrian and Mullion coves gave us spectacular Mounts Bay views, ice creams, and a scarecrow-filled Mullion village to finish. A cracking walk all round. Guy

A warm Wednesday at Trelissick! Clouds overhead, but the South Woodland walk kept us moving with plenty of laughs along the way. We finished with a well earned café catch up, the perfect midweek reset!

Two new faces joined our Level 3 walk at Trelissick today. I led from the back, keeping an eye on those elbows, while the group enjoyed plenty of laughter and a good old stomp through the woodland walk.

Hello Monday! Tehidy was shining this morning with sunshine and a fresh breeze. Our Level 2 crew teamed up with a few speedy Level 3 walkers for a lively mix. Huge shout-out to Gina for conquering the big hill without stopping! We made such good time that we added an extra stretch, cooled down, then finished off with a well-earned cuppa at Tehidy Woods Cafe

Level 2 walkers smashed it at Trelissick this morning! We kicked things off with a wave to our gig-rowing friends, then enjoyed a gorgeous route with perfect cloud cover to keep us cool. Afterwards, we took over the courtyard for well-earned refreshments – a fab morning all round!

Wow, what a scorcher today! We started with a refreshing Nordic walk at Trelissick, making the most of the shady woodland paths to stay cool. After the walk, we couldn’t resist a bit of fun with the giant chair — perfect for a group photo! Later, we stayed at Trelissick to welcome some new faces at our Beginners Workshop, introducing them to the Nordic walking technique we love so much.

This morning’s Penrose Estate walk had us braced for a heatwave… but Cornwall had other plans. A quick rain shower on the drive down, then cool cloud and shady trails all the way – not a drop once we set off! We’ll take that over this afternoon’s downpour any day. Tomorrow might be the scorcher, but today was all about the calm, cool miles.
