The message still isn’t getting through 😔 Yesterday we watched a dog struggling and panicking on a cliff, he’d come down from the top of Kynance. Some of us were on the beach trying to help him incase he fell. We shouted up for the owner to get him and put him on a lead hoping she’d call him back and he’d find a route back up. He finally he did find a way, he was lucky and she was lucky, they went home with their dog yesterday. After, she came and shouted at me that he didn’t need to be on a lead as someone told her he didn’t and it was none of my business. I’m afraid I shouted back telling her how many dogs had already died this year and how the RNLI risk their own live to save dogs just because people won’t put their dogs on leads. The message just isn’t getting through. I wonder if in the busier spots National Trust South West could put some dogs on leads signs up to help? Don’t let your dog be next to be lost over a cliff and don’t let the lack of a lead mean the RNLI have to go out risking their lives!
