Whether we have been practising for weeks or years it is very common to find that we have fallen into a habit of using meditation to avoid our problems or whatever we don't want to be with. In fact, a lot of people think that the very purpose of mindfulness is to 'zone out' - oddly they think this is weird but they don't think its weird when they do the same thing via netflix or social scrolling?
Anyway, its not about zoning out at all, in fact we might not even feel especially calm or peaceful at times, so what should we be doing - if indeed we are doing anything at all?
If I said that maybe we should be passively learning you might wonder what that is and how we go about it.
In this two hour practise and chat session we will dive in deep and whether your practice is new or old, hopefully establish greater clarity about how to move it forward. Im looking forward to this one :)
