All aboard the bus! 🚌😄
Our residents rolled into the garden centre and were dazzled by all things bright and beautiful 🤩
There was plenty of laughter, serious plant-spotting and then the really important part: tea cakes and cheese scones!
A truly lovely outing enjoyed by all.🌼☕️

🧩 Puzzle Power at Birkin! 😀

Our residents spent the afternoon working together to complete a jigsaw puzzle of their choice. This involved lots of concentration, problem solving and teamwork.
Best of all is the sense of pride and achievement when the final piece is placed. 💙🧩

Who doesn’t love a penguin 🐧
❄️ In keeping with the icy conditions, our residents handcrafted their own penguin skittles. They discovered that they were easier to make than to topple - but great fun all the same! 🤗

🌿 To celebrate houseplant week, our plant whisperer Jenny,brought in a sixth of her houseplant collection, and residents were absolutely fascinated! The ancient cactus, the cheerful kalanchoe and even the African violet all stole the spotlight.🌵
