We were delighted to celebrate Cake Kindness Day with the wonderful team at Mosaic Resource Centre, who do incredible work in our community. They offer a Soup Bowl, support with housing and employment, arrange free haircuts and even provide a laundry service. Cake4Kindness CIC
The volunteers happily received the chocolate brownies we made to serve as a sweet treat after soup and sandwiches.
We hope this little gesture helps brighten someone’s day🍰 💛

🇬🇧 Armistice Day at Birkin 🇬🇧
Today we were honoured to welcome retired Lieutenant Colonel Rod MacArthur to Birkin Lodge. With several of our residents having proudly served in the Royal Engineers, it was a very special occasion.

A truly fascinating talk on the evolution of bomb disposal from 1940 through to 2025, sharing incredible stories of bravery, innovation and dedication 🌺
To honour Rod’s service, we’ll be making a donation to Felix Fund - The Bomb Disposal Charity who support men and women of our armed forces.🎖️
