Today we celebrated VE Day🇬🇧 in wonderful style with a fantastic live musician singing all the wartime favourites.🎙️

Of course no celebration would be complete without the essential ingredients - plenty of pots of tea and a delicious scone or two. 😍

Our coffee morning was a true splash of colour! ☕️🫟

Residents transformed old flower pots into beautiful homes for our thriving seedlings .🌱 With paintbrushes in hand and plenty of laughter along the way, each pot became a unique piece of art ready to brighten our garden 🪴

A big thank you to the lovely ladies from our community who joined us to make the morning even more special.Your kindness and company mean so much to us all.💐

Today we filled a trolley with beautiful, vibrant flowers and took it on a little journey from room to room.🌺🌼
Residents were invited to play ‘Identify the Flower’ and the reactions were simply lovely.Some gasped at the stunning burst of colours, while others had a good think, scratching their heads as they tried to recall the names.🤨

The standout favourite of the day was the magnificent Amaryllis - its sheer size and bold presence caught everyone’s attention!
This activity brought so much joy, curiosity and connection.💐

Update: the cress understood the assignment and is now thriving. 🌱🤸🏾
