It’s not everyday that you enjoy jazz in a care home. Halliwell went one step further and welcomed 5 gifted musicians from Ronnie Scott’s. Our picnic on the lawn was hastily whisked inside to avoid the rain but this did not dampen the spirits of our Residents and their families and friends. It was a truly memorable afternoon.

No trip to Castle Farm would be complete without Lavender Gin, Lavender Lemonade and Lavender Loaf! We know how to spoil our Residents. The weather behaved for our annual trip and we all enjoyed a super afternoon in the most beautiful and tranquil setting.

28,000 Kilos of strawberries and 10,000 litres of cream are consumed at Wimbledon every year. At Halliwell we have done our very best to rival that, much to the delight of our Residents. Our Quiz Master, Richard and his lovely assistant Liz dressed up for the occasion and tested our Thursday Quzzers on all things ‘Wimbledon’ - game, set and match here in Tunbridge Wells!
