It always brings me so much joy and appreciation when I receive a wonderful review from a counselling client.

I ask for feedback at the very end of our exploration together, perhaps after a few months or longer. This offers my clients the opportunity to reflect on their growth & experience. It also gives insight to prospective new clients who may be nervous about getting in touch and embarking on a course of counselling.

If you’re considering starting counselling this new year do take your time to find someone you’ll feel safe & confident in. Someone qualified & experienced to help guide you into the dark & hidden aspects of yourself to help shine some light of understanding & acceptance.

I’m overjoyed to announce that I’ve completed my Level 1 Training in IFS Therapy and am now listed in the IFS UK Directory of Therapists.  It’s thrilling to be awarded my Certificate of Completion signed by Richard Schwartz!
 
This work aligns with my Integrative Counselling & Coaching degree (2023) and my original Yoga Teaching qualification (2011).  Together, these trainings afford me a wonderfully rounded, robust and attuned approach to client work with integrity and respect for body, mind and spirit.
 
It’s a rare thing to find training that touches you both personally and professionally.  One that offers deep insight and connection as well as opening a vast field of compassion, integrity and respect. My Level 1 Training in IFS has done all of this and so much more.  It offered a brave space to explore, .share and grow within safe edges, held ever so tenderly with wisdom and grace.
 
The experience has been both unique and awe-inspiring and I’m filled to the brim with gratitude and humility for the training, the training team and the modality of IFS.  Now I know why the training is so sought after, over-subscribed and profoundly valuable.
 
Every journey of self-discovery begins with one simple step. However daunting that first step may seem, IFS offers you a guiding light and inner compass to safely navigate your pathway through your unique inner landscape. Together, within the powerful container of IFS therapy, you can begin to better understand your past, present and future with more health, happiness and trust in your Self.

Setting up your morning can be one of the most empowering ways to change your entire day. Here are some of my favourite morning habits that make each day a little bit better!

Fuel your body and mind with a warm herbal tea. Hydration kickstarts your metabolism, while a nutritious meal provides the energy needed to conquer the day.

Before diving into the day's activities, set positive intentions. What do you aim to achieve? Frame your mindset for success and approach challenges with a can-do attitude.

Engage in gentle movement or meditation to centre your mind and body. Whether it's a quick yoga session or a few minutes of meditation, find what resonates with you to cultivate inner calm.

Step outside to sky gaze and set your circadian rhythm.

“There is a way between voice and presence, where information flows. In disciplined silence it opens; with wandering talk it closes.”

We’ve all heard the term monkey mind, where our thoughts jump from one thing to another like a monkey leaping from branch to branch. Often this chatter goes on continuously, so much so that it thinks it runs the show and can unconsciously direct the course of our daily lives.

Meditation is my go-to here, a daily regular practice of sitting and steadying my thoughts to calm the waters and tame my monkey mind. Meditation also offers a wonderful insight into my inner world and allows time for reflection, awareness and curiosity to develop.

If you’ve tried meditation before, and feel it’s not for you, perhaps give it
one more try and get in touch. I will be very happy to
arrange a private session to give you some new insight into how you can
