Here is an amazing before and after case by Mr Kashif Qureshi. In the images, we see the central part of the retina, known as the macula.
In the first image we see the macula is lifted up by a big bump which is a pigment epithelial detachment from wet macular degeneration, there are black spaces on the left which is fluid from wet macular degeneration. This bump will be causing distortion in vision and blurring. If left alone there is risk of sight deterioration. ๐

This was the appearance of her macula for some years, until Mr Qureshi decided to switch her to a new treatment called Vabysmo. The next image from only 6 months later, is her eye after a few injections of vabysmo. Immediately the bump has flattened and her vision has improved with much less distortion now. ๐๏ธ
