Hey beautiful human, hereโ€™s a few affirmations for healing internalised queerphobia as an LGBTQIA+ person, whether that be homophobia, lesbiphobia, biphobia, panphobia, transphobia, non-binaryphobia, interphobia, polyfobia, acephobia or any other phobia related to your sexuality and how you identify and express your gender. โฃ๐ŸŒˆ

I recommend saying these affirmations out loud these whilst looking at yourself in the mirror to to rewire your subconscious mind and body.

Itโ€™s even better if you speak them out loud when youโ€™re in a state where you are experiencing strong positive feelings, emotions and sensations to help your subconscious to be the most receptive to accepting these affirmations and to rewiring into your subconscious and unconscious mind and body. โœจ

You can even rewire your subconscious by saying these affirmations out loud whilst giving yourself some loving touch, whilst using a glass/ crystal egg or during self pleasure when youโ€™re connected to yourself and your body and youโ€™re feeling all the good feels and all the dopamine, oxytocin, endorphins are flowing. Thatโ€™s right, thereโ€™s science to s.x magic ๐Ÿช„

Self pleasure also helps to stimulate and tone your vagus nerve, activating the parasympathetic nervous system/ rest and digest state, helping you to create that feeling of safety and calm in your body in fully receiving these affirmations and creating new beliefs. The more toned your vagus nerve is the quicker youโ€™ll be able to recover from stress and stressors related to being LGBTQIA+, including prejudice, discrimination and micro-aggressions.

You can also say these affirmations during breath-work and self-hypnosis, where youโ€™re in a trance like state and have direct access to, and can therefore most easily rewire your subconscious and unconscious mind and body.

๐ŸƒYou donโ€™t need to attend all of the workout classes because it seems like everyone else is. Do what intuitively feels right for you and your body. Be kind to yourself and your body- now more than ever.

๐ŸƒYou donโ€™t need to magic something new up in the kitchen or dare I say it, bake banana bread. Unless of course, you want to. Do what nourishes you- mind, body and soul.โ €

None of us crave feeling safe around others while sharing part(s) of who we are and toning down or hiding the parts of ourselves we are worried we may be rejected for. โ €
โ €
We crave feeling so safe that we can let go and be all of who we are. โ €
โ €
We crave deep human connection that requires openness and vulnerability. โ €
โ €
We want to be accepted for all of who we are- our authentic sexuality, our inner children, our shadows. All of it. โ €
โ €
Take note of the people you feel so safe, relaxed and at ease being around and spend more time with them. โ €
โ €
If thereโ€™s anyone you donโ€™t feel safe around, look after yourself and do what you need to do to feel safe. Set boundaries from a place of knowing you deserve to feel safe. It doesnโ€™t necessarily mean anything about that person. Donโ€™t feel guilty for looking after yourself. โ €
โ €
Also note that if you donโ€™t feel safe in new situations, that doesnโ€™t mean you should avoid them or shrink yourself. That will likely just compound the anxiety. It might be an invitation for you to unconditionally accept and love yourself - no matter what anyone else thinks- and approach situations from that place of ease. โ €
โ €
Know that you are so worthy of being all of you.
