Tunbridge Wells Care Centre provides nursing, dementia, respite and residential care.

Tunbridge Wells Care Centre is a modern, purposely and sensitively built 70 bedded nursing home situated in a pleasant residential area of Tunbridge Wells. It is easily accessible by road and public transport and local shops and amenities are just a short walk away.

Here are some lovely photos from when our talented staff member Abby treated residents to a wonderful singing session!✨

Everyone enjoyed listening and joining in to favourite musical tunes, with a few classics from The Carpenters and ABBA thrown in for good measure! 💛🎵

Today we said goodbye to one of our wonderful Activities Assistants, Amelia who has been with us for nearly two years! 💐

We celebrated with a special coffee morning, featuring Amelia’s homemade Victoria sponge (with her grandma’s raspberry jam!) and a Colin the Caterpillar cake 🍰

We also had a lovely surprise visit from Head of Activities, Rachel who came along despite recovering from an operation, she couldn’t let Amelia leave without saying goodbye!

Residents and staff signed cards and gifted Amelia some thoughtful presents, including a beautiful balloon that read “We will miss you, love the residents at TWCC.” Resident Ann Hall gave a touching speech and offered a heartfelt prayer for Rachel’s continued recovery.

We proudly celebrated Ann, Jaimol and Lismi, who have all passed their OSCE exams and are now qualified nurses here at TWCC! 🌟

Each of them has been with us for 3 years as Senior Carers/Med Techs, and their hard work and dedication have truly paid off. To mark the occasion, they were gifted a personalised Parker pen and a personalised fob watch. 🖊️⌚

We’re so lucky to have such talented and caring nurses on our team! 💙

Every Thursday we gather in reception for our much-loved coffee morning. This week, alongside our tea and coffee, we enjoyed a choice of chocolate cake, jam Swiss roll or sprinkle doughnuts – such a treat! 🎂

It was lovely to see so many residents join in for a good catch-up, chatting about our upcoming Halloween party and the entertainers we’re looking forward to 🕷🎶👻

We are so fortunate to welcome Rev. David Green from St Luke’s Church to lead our fortnightly church services. One week we enjoy a service of worship and the next a service of holy communion ⛪

David always chooses our favourite hymns and even provides a printed order of service, making it easy for everyone to follow along and take part 💛

We are truly thankful for these meaningful services and the joy they bring to our residents.

We had a wonderful visit from Keeley – she sang so many of our favourite songs while we jived, twisted, and had so much fun together. What a joyful afternoon! 💛✨

We enjoyed another fantastic visit from Fred Clarke! Residents clapped, danced and even sang a few duets with him 🎤✨

A highlight was Donna’s special song request, which Fred performed beautifully. We can’t wait to welcome Fred back in October 💃🎶

Gentle Exercise with Monaz 😊💪

Our residents had a wonderful time taking part in a gentle exercise class led by the lovely Monaz. The session was perfectly paced – giving us a great workout for the whole body without leaving us tired 🙌

We explored new ways to move and stretch, and had lots of fun using the exercise balls, which brought plenty of smiles and laughter along the way💛

To round off August, our residents enjoyed a cosy afternoon listening to 70's music together, along with their favourite drinks – from a glass of wine or Baileys to a refreshing lemonade🍷🍋

We prepared some tasty snacks including fresh bread with butter and juicy grapes – the perfect accompaniments! 😋

Despite the rainy Friday, spirits were bright, and it was a lovely way to end the month 💛
