Sneak peek into the workshop Hexagon will be delivering at our Grow to Glow Summer Solstice Retreat this summer ⬇️⬇️🎊🎊🎊
We have a deeply unhelpful attitude to emotions: we have prefixed ideas how we should feel, and we take great offence to anything that isn’t joy, or happiness. We also think emotions make us weak, irrational, and inconvenient.
But what if they’re telling us something important? What if they’re there to protect us?
And what if how we respond to emotions is the key to managing stress, particularly as a woman?
I spent my weekend researching and writing a workshop about stress management and burnout for women, it's called: 𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗻: 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝘄𝗼𝗺𝗮𝗻. I’m super excited about it because with a few tweaks it’s the workshop I’m delivering for this summer 🥳🥳🥳

Let this post be a little reminder that the most powerful way to respond to your emotions, and by extension manage stress, is to feel your feelings. To look your emotions in the eye with kindness, compassion, and curiosity as you might a small child. ❤️
