I was just discussing this with a couple of clients recently! Surgery is presumed by many to be the gold standard for return to function but studies are now showing that physical therapy alone can be a good first option. One high quality study also indicated that those who underwent surgical repair actually had poorer outcomes.

I'm not against surgery in any way, but I think non-surgical options should be considered as a viable alternative for many people. The Spring Rooms The Ananda Clinic

Individuals genetically predisposed to regular napping had greater total brain volume, a surrogate of better cognitive health.

I am always amazed at anyone who can complete a marathon - what a great achievement.

Well done to everyone who ran the London Marathon, what an achievement! You have trained like an elite athlete so you need to recover like the elite. If you haven't already booked, make sure you have a post-event sports massage this week to aid your recovery.

I’m a big fan of lifting weights, and loved the effect it had on my athletic abilities when I used to train really hard in my 20s and 30s.
