Augmentation Rhinoplasty

This patient sustained a severe nasal injury that resulted in a large septal perforation and complete collapse of the nasal dorsum. Reconstruction was performed using donor rib cartilage, restoring both form and function.

Remarkably, this is just a 2-week post-operative result, and the patient is already overjoyed, sharing that not only does she “have her nose back,” but that it looks even better than her original nose.

Infiltrative skin cancer. This patient refused to have part of her ear removed and therefore was referred to Miss Cheang. The skin cancer was excised with part of the ear canal skin removed, but her outer ear was spared. Reconstruction was carried out using local flap.

Complex Skin Cancer Reconstruction – Nasolabial Region

A challenging case of skin cancer in the nasolabial region was meticulously reconstructed using a combination of an island flap and upper lip advancement flap. This tailored approach allowed for optimal preservation of facial contours, minimal distortion to the lip and nasal structure.

A delicate balance of form and function was achieved, restoring both aesthetics and mobility in this highly expressive area of the face.

A highly unusual case today

This patient presented with a very depressed neck scar following a previous tracheostomy, which left her feeling understandably self-conscious. Using a 4-layer reconstruction technique, we were able to carefully reposition the muscle layers to restore contour and correct the defect.
