Mental Fitness Seminar Round Up 🧠📚

held his powerful seminar about mental fitness today for our lovely community.

James created a space for people to feel welcome, safe and encouraged to dive deeper introspectively and take time to learn more about ourselves. Ask ourselves questions and take action to live a meaningful & purposeful life.

He helped us question our behaviours, find our values and to be able to look at ourselves honestly to evaluate if we are truly living congruently with the person we want to be.

The value of this morning was priceless, and we hope many of you were able to take great inspiration from James to apply to yourselves and your own journeys.

Our inaugural Mental Fitness Seminar hosted by our very own has had great interest and most spaces are gone - 22/25

We want to fully book out this FREE seminar because of the passion we have about how this really can change peoples lives.

Commitments > Resolutions

Resolutions don’t work, they’re quickly decided, they’re reactive, they are normally too extreme, superficial and outcome based. When did they ever work?

Commitments are better. Committing to the actions, behaviours, routines and boundaries that will see the progress to lead you there.

Focusing on the process rather than the outcome. Because you’re never at the outcome. We’re always in the process, so stop focusing on where you are not, and start focusing on where you are. What’s the next step, can you commit to it?

Resolutions can be lose weight ❌
Eat more healthy ❌
Do more exercise ❌
Spend more time on yourself ❌

But they’re all outcomes.

What might they look like as commitments? The commitments are the actions or the steps that lead to the outcome.

✅ Increase daily step count by 20%
✅ Choose fruit as snacks and base meals on protein
✅ Get a training program for 3x Week
✅ Journal, skin care routine, and bath before bed

You might just get somewhere..

Rest is often not the best form of recovery. A lot of the time people rest their injuries and pain in the hope and illusion it’s getting better.

In actuality, you’re just not doing anything to highlight the problem. Just because you can’t feel it, it doesn’t mean it isn’t there.

If you don’t pull the pin on a gr***de, it doesn’t mean the gr***de isn’t still there - and I don’t know about you, but I wouldn’t feel comfortable living with a gr***de in the pocket.

However, when people do ‘rest’, this is what most peoples rest looks like.

Far from it.
