Today was such a special day at The Hollies Rest Hime as we celebrated you- your wonderful spirit , your kindness and the incredible 93 years of memories, wisdom and stories you carry with you .
It was a joy for all the staff to share this milestone with you . Your laughter , grace and gentle presence brighten our day and we are grateful to be part of your journey .

Christmas lunch at The Hollies is a heartwarming celebration where residents and their families came together to share a festive meal. The dining room was filled with Christmas spirit as loved ones joined residents to enjoy a traditional Christmas menu and celebrate the joy of the season as a community. This week, The Hollies was filled with the true spirit of Christmas as residents gathered for a beautiful carol service led by two very special guests- Sally and her son Harry . As the daughter and grandson of one of our residents , they brought her not only music , but a sense of family , connection , and joy that touched everyone present.
Sally’s gentle leadership and Harry’s bright enthusiasm created a lovely atmosphere, with familiar carols that had residents smiling , singing along and reminiscing about Christmases past. Moments like this remind us how powerful community can be , especially when families share their time and talents so generously.
Were incredibly grateful to Sally,Harry , families and friends who joined us for giving our residents such a memorable and uplifting afternoon. Their kindness brought warmth to a winter’s day and helped make this festive season feel truly special at The Hollies .
